I think no matter how hard we try and remember what it was like to be a teenager, it's an impossible task. The hormonal changes, the exponentially increasing expectations, the looming prospect of your life laid out before you, the thick fog of your future. Every adult went through it, but the memory of it slips away more and more each day - as you figure out who you are as a person, as you slowly realize that most things aren't as important as they seem and that "this to, shall pass." At a certain point, as an adult, you cross a threshold, and without realizing it, you're on the outside of the fish bowl, looking in.
